But what if we mentioned the house was built in 1882 and offered plenty of deteriorated plaster and structural inconsistencies, but no central air or garage space? In partnership with Highland Property Partners LLC, we're proud to have renovated, restored and modernized this Victorian, getting it back on the market in eight months.
There were aspects of the property we painstakingly restored including the wood facade, original staircases, front entry door, antique leaded glass windows and oak and mahogany wood floors. But otherwise, this home built back in 1882 is brand new! The new 2-car, extended length detached garage is accessed via a brand new driveway and surrounded by fully-irrigated landscaping. While the guardrails on the front porch are existing, the stained mahogany floor boards are newly installed, as is the paver walkway, Belgian block curbing and expansive deck situated off the back of the house.
Natural light floods into the home through the Pella Architect-Series double hung windows, illuminating the extensive baseboard, crown and wainscot moldings throughout the house which, along with the newly sheet rocked walls, are painted in resilient Benjamin Moore products.
